Mmk so I know the whole vintage sequin trend thing has been back for a little bit now, but I just have to write about it. I'm sorry but I can't resist, and I'm sure you won't mind some tips on how to wear these crazy eclectic "i throw up sequins" clothing items right?
They may be a bit heavy to wear and they may be a little hard to wash, but looking cute in these pieces is absolutely worth it. And there's more positives then negatives. One, they seem to be at every vintage shop and thrift store so their easy to find and their cheap. Two, they can go with any outfit so there is no need to worry about how to make it work for you. And three, their not just for day or night; depending on how you wear them they can work for either.
So what's my dream outfit with one of these sequined babies? I suggest a multi-colored sequined shirt (tip: wear a thin tank underneath so the shirt doesn't itch you), make sure the shirt covers your butt so you can wear it with some black shiny leggings and add some high heals and you are set for the day and/or night.
Still can't envision it? Here:
