Make that art pop

Designer, Holly Fulton has a new line this summer season. To me this line screams "Yes I live in new york and I'll wear new york too". These pieces are more then just art, their architecture on clothing. Absolutely impeccable.
Decorated with bright colors and an array of architectural art deco designs, I can just see myself walking around NY and blending in perfectly with my patent leather and wool mini dress from Holly Fulton. Yes please, take me to the Empire State Building and show my dress around town.


Food for thought: If Holly Fulton, one of the newest and youngest designers (as of 2009) can design these amazing pieces of art, then I think I should be able to wear them as one of the newest and youngest fashion bloggers (as of 2010). Who seconds me?

Newest trend: gray hair

I new I should have died my hair gray before it became a trend. That seems to always happen to me: I think of something so cute but I don't do it quick enough and before I know it everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.
About 6 months ago I decided that I wanted to dye my hair gray but first I wanted to get fully platinum. All the sudden time fly's bye and everyone including Lady Gaga and the 13 year old blogger, Tavi, is doing it.
Well, maybe this will be a lesson for me to do what I think of before everyone else beats me to it.







Food for thought: Next time you think of something cute, get some guts and do it right away.

Space kadet

You can usually guess that she won't be wearing any pants, but you can never guess what she will be wearing next. Guess who?
Yes, Lady Gaga it is.
Whether she is designing the outfit herself or having designers such as Alexander McQueen (oh we will miss you so) design her outfits for her, it is safe to say that her outfits will always be unpredictable and extraordinarily avant-garde.

If she can wear these outfits and get away with it, then I think we should feel safe to wear our "crazy" outfits considering that they probably won't compare with hers.
